RANGOON CREEPER – CLIMBER

Rangoon Creeper (Quisqualis indica) is a vigorous, woody climber native to tropical Asia, widely grown as an ornamental plant for its stunning, fragrant flowers and rapid growth. This climber features large, dense green leaves and striking tubular flowers that change color—from white to pink to deep red—as they mature, often all appearing together in a beautiful gradient. The blossoms are especially fragrant in the evening, attracting butterflies and bees.

Commonly seen adorning fences, pergolas, arches, and walls, the Rangoon Creeper thrives in warm climates with plenty of sunlight and well-drained soil. It can be trained to climb or grow as a sprawling shrub with regular pruning.

Traditionally, parts of the plant have also been used in herbal medicine, especially for treating intestinal worms and digestive issues. With its ornamental charm and light fragrance, it’s a favorite choice for gardens and landscape decoration in tropical and subtropical regions.
