EUFORBIA – HEDGE PLANT

Euphorbia, especially varieties like Euphorbia tirucalli (commonly known as Pencil Cactus or Milk Bush) and Euphorbia antiquorum, are tough, drought-resistant plants widely used as hedges or living fences in tropical and semi-arid regions. These plants have thick, succulent stems with few or no leaves and produce a milky sap that can be irritating to the skin and eyes.

They grow well in full sun, need very little water, and can survive in poor soils, making them ideal for low-maintenance landscaping. Euphorbia hedge plants are often planted closely to form natural barriers around farms, homes, and gardens. They can also deter animals due to their slightly toxic sap and dense growth.
