MAMMILLARIA HAHNIANA MYSTAX

Mammillaria hahniana mystax, commonly known as the Old Lady Pincushion Cactus, is a delightful globular cactus native to central Mexico. It is prized for its fuzzy appearance, caused by a dense layer of fine white hairs that cover its body, giving it a soft, woolly look—despite being a true cactus with spines underneath.

As it matures, this cactus often produces a circular crown of bright pink or magenta flowers around its top, creating a striking “flower halo” effect in spring and summer.
