PINE TREE – CHRISTMAS TREE

The pine tree belongs to the genus Pinus, a group of evergreen conifers native to many parts of the world, especially the Northern Hemisphere. Pine trees are easily recognized by their long, needle-like leaves, rough bark, and seed-bearing cones. They can range in height from small shrubs to towering trees over 30 meters tall. Pine trees are highly valued for their wood, resin, and ornamental beauty.

Certain species of pine, along with fir and spruce trees, are commonly used as Christmas trees. Their symmetrical shape, evergreen foliage, and pleasant scent make them ideal for holiday decoration.
